Accessibility Statement

A Lewis Website • Design • Marketing is committed to making its website accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

We are continually working to improve the accessibility, usability and clarity of our website and aim to provide an inclusive online experience for all visitors.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) provide recommendations for making websites more accessible. They include three conformance levels: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA.

A Lewis Website • Design • Marketing is working towards WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We aim to make all pages and content on:

www.alewiswebsites.co.uk as accessible as reasonably possible.

At present, some content may not fully meet every WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirement. This may include older content, third-party content, documents, images or interactive elements that require further review.

We use Elementor Ally Web Accessibility to help identify and address common accessibility barriers. Ally can scan for more than 180 potential accessibility issues based on WCAG 2.1 AA criteria and provide guided recommendations. However, automated accessibility tools cannot identify every issue, so accessibility also requires ongoing human review and testing. elementor.com

This means that the website should be regarded as partially conformant while improvements and reviews continue, rather than being declared fully compliant.

Accessibility features

Where enabled, the website and Ally accessibility tools may support visitors with features including:

Ongoing improvements

  • Improving image alternative text
  • Reviewing colour contrast
  • Maintaining a logical heading structure
  • Improving keyboard navigation
  • Using descriptive link and button text
